Profile: John (Hudson) Cheng has been working in Thailand for several years and now on the island, with extensive experience in residential and commercial design and fast track project management. The latter is a speciality profession in Thailand.

Having been trained in the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, he has over 15 years experience in hands on designing and building luxury housing, being a licensed building contractor and qualified Project Manager and Architect in Australia.

Spent over 10 years as associate director of Ronald Lu & Partners, a 120 strong international firm of architects in Hong Kong from where extensive design and project management has been the hallmark of his profession in HK and China. As a Senior Project Manager, he was also the CEO responsible for Design and Build Term Projects on HK Island - on secondment to the HK Government Architectural Services Department.

Trained multi-nationally, he has a cosmopolitan understanding of both Western spatial design, elegance and build quality and Asian design influences ensure good "Fung Shui" for those needing good "spiritual" support. His background provides a strong ethnic understanding and rapport with the local Thais and the knowledgeable incorporation of soothing traditional tropical design fused with modern architecture.

Last but not least, he is keenly aware of designing and planning for the environment, using the latest in technology, materials and equipment to achieve this end. Design concepts are developed and further innovation made only after the needs of the client are fully understood.
